apt command unable to locate npm and node packages

@fit_For_a_King Good edit, thank you. There are some things online that imply NVM works with MX Linux, but I can't personally test. If there's any chance you did anything that could've messed up the configuration it would be worth at least removing NVM completely (rm -rf ~/.nvm) and trying again before doing a full system reinstall.Just make sure to read through the directions in the NVM docs.

Downloading and installing Node.js and npm | npm Docs

We do not recommend using a Node installer, since the Node installation process installs npm in a directory with local permissions and can cause permissions errors when you run npm packages globally. Unable to locate Mix file · Issue #356 · BRACKETS-by-TRIAD/craftable

@GonrasK, looks to me like npm install craftable did resolve this issue and you are now facing the other issue Richard linked to. @RichardDominik my read of the npm problem is that caching makes it hard to reproduce. Once the package is properly retrieved with all dependencies, you won't be able to reproduce it. I'm really not sure about the specific circumstance that caused it.
